First time visiting Sakartvelo (or simply Georgia). There was a planned tour in 2022, but life happens.

Gestalt is finally closed, but want to go back already. Beautiful country (mountains), amazing people, delicious food (khinkali forever one love) and local grape brandy chacha. Wine is also good, but I prefer more dry sorts. Many cats and dogs, all beautiful.

Seen Tbilisi and its surroundings, Kakheti region and Mount Kazbegi. Tried local family food, compared homemade wine/chacha with mass-produced ones, listened about region history and local legends. Tried Old Fashioned and Negroni variations, based on chacha – the first is good, but second is meh.

It was more of a sightseeing trip, but I’d love to go back and stay for a while to get a real taste of local life, like I love to do with favorite places.
