This is a joke post, some mornings my brain needs to prove itself in a delulu competion where it’s the only participant.

There is a famous game series X-COM (now it’s just XCOM). However, one guy thinks X is the best name for a rebranded service and even buys domain x.younowwhat. And after that, shitshorm of all sort is happening.

So, let’s say, a game marketing team tries to find an exit strategy for such spoiled name. XCOM is about aliens and they want the same simple one-letter brand.

Firstly, what letters of the alphabet represent an unknown? I think, the last ones – x, y, z. But:

• X: doesn’t fit;
• Y: is this service only for males?
• Z: already used by similar scum.

What to do? Using Greek?
